Can someone please explain how rabbits and eggs are connected to Jesus? Easter traditions today make no sense.. I certainly do not think of hidden eggs full of candy at the mention of Jesus, do you? And let's not forget those bunnies, so cute and cuddly. They definitely have a place at Easter.. maybe Jesus had a pet bunny.. MAYBE Jesus hatched a rabbit out of an egg! I bet that impressed the non believers! Okay, it all makes sense now. Egg plus rabbit equals Jesus.

Or maybe we've just taken another holiday and milked it for all it's worth. It's the only tradition we have of our own, making holidays meaningless and consuming even more than usual. Welcome to America. Would you like a chocolate bunny?
