| In a world where violence has dominated our history, with millions upon millions of deaths, our race has made it all to easy to kill. It is sad to me that war is such a simple act to many, that the lives lost and suffering endured by those involved is not realized nor cared about. Is there really ever any good reason to mindlessly slaughter entire populations? It is so easy to hate a word, a symbol. That is how we wage our wars, by declaring ideologies, races, and religions as wrong. But all of these things cannot exist without individuals, people who are no different from you and I. War is just a word for many, but for millions of others it is a death sentence. It is a way of life that destroys humanity and revels in human suffering.
War is not just a word. It is mass murder. It is humanity at its worst. It is unimaginable suffering, pain and death. It is man's homemade Hell. |
